What you get

• Loan up to ₹5 lakh at 8% interest
• Repay over up to 5 years, starting the month after the loan is paid
• Women from backward classes with family income of ₹3 lakh to 8 lakh can use the same terms under BC Credit Line II

Who can apply

• Nano and micro enterprises.
• Only for women.
• Age 18 to 60.
• The most on offer is ₹5 lakh.
• Women aged 18 to 60
• Annual family income up to ₹8 lakh
• No set educational qualification, but SSLC holders, those with technical training and those with work experience get preference. Technical qualification is required for technical work
• Security is either property of at least 5 cents of land, or the salary guarantee of a government employee (two employees for loans above ₹5 lakh)
• A bank account in a nationalised bank is needed
• The loan is sanctioned only after an interview
• A one-time risk fund contribution is charged, from ₹250 plus GST for loans up to ₹50,000 to ₹2,500 plus GST for loans of ₹3.5 lakh to 5 lakh

How to apply

1. Fill in the application online on Mithrasoft or on the printed form
2. Attach copies of the documents listed and a short project report you have prepared
3. Attend the interview called by the corporation
4. Submit the security documents after the interview, then sign the loan papers

• SSLC book or school admission register extract showing caste
• Ration card, first and second pages
• Family annual income certificate from the village office
• Proof of age
• Voter ID card
• Aadhaar
• Copy of an Aadhaar-linked bank passbook
• Certificate of technical skill or experience, where needed
• Certificate if the applicant is a widow, a person with disability or destitute
• Short project report on the planned business
• Security documents for property or salary guarantee
