One District One Product ODOP

A national effort that picks at least one product from each district to brand, promote and export. It has no money of its own, but makers of their district's product get extra attention from GeM, PMFME and DGFT.

  • Most useful if you make or sell your district's listed product

How to apply

  1. Check your district's product on the ODOP list
  2. Ask to be listed in the ODOP seller directory through the Collaborate with ODOP page or odopindia@investindia.org.in
  3. Sell to government buyers through the ODOP storefront on GeM
  4. For export help, contact DGFT's Districts as Export Hubs team

In Kerala, Kerala's district products are chosen by the state government. DGFT's Districts as Export Hubs works through district export promotion committees.

Worth knowing

PIB reported 1,244 products across 773 districts in July 2026. Since 1 June 2026 DGFT runs Districts as Export Hubs in phases. Budget 2026-27 links ODOP to the Mahatma Gandhi Gram Swaraj Initiative for khadi, handloom and handicrafts.
