What you get

  • Refund of hidden taxes and levies on exported goods at rates listed in Appendix 4R (DTA exports) and 4RE
  • Restored for Advance Authorisation holders, SEZs and EOUs from 1 June 2025

Who can apply

  • Businesses that are already running.
  • Open to businesses in manufacturing and trading.
  • Exporter needs an Importer Exporter Code
  • Only products and rates listed in the RoDTEP schedule

How to apply

  1. Claim RoDTEP in the shipping bill at export
  2. Duty credit is generated in the ICEGATE ledger and can be used or transferred
  3. File the annual RoDTEP return where required

Worth knowing

The last extension notice listed covers exports to 31 March 2026, and DGFT aligned the RoDTEP schedule with new tariff lines from 1 May 2026 (Notification 15 of 30 April 2026), so the scheme is operating in 2026-27.
